Nuala was born in Dublin and she has lived and worked in Dublin all her life except for a year when she lived in Paris working as an Au Pair.
Nuala worked with Joe Walsh Tours for the first 27 years of her career before joining the Society of St Vincent DePaul as Communications Manager for the Dublin Region. Nuala is currently a volunteer with St Vincent de Paul and has been for the past 23 years. Prior to that she was a member of Rotaract Dun Laoghaire. (Junior Rotary)
Nuala married Adrian in July 2012. Nuala’s mother, Aine lives in Dublin. Nuala has three brothers Aidan, Declan and Bernard, two sisters Kate and Mairead, four nieces, two nephews, a grand nephew and a large extended family!
Nuala was fortunate to get 11 months leave of absence from her job with SVP , so she could accompany Adrian on his wish for a gap year.
Now that Nuala is three quarters the way through the gap year Nuala has thoroughly enjoyed the travelling and is looking forward to going back to work again in March.
Hi Nuala, I wish you and Adrian a fantastic trip – what an adventure you’re going to have!
