Today I am 61 ! There were sometimes in my life that I thought I would never get to this age. But I have and I am in the middle of a Gap Year and celebrating my birthday, with Nuala, on a boat in Munster in Germany. A day in Wolfsburg- the home of Volkswagen

We have become so flexible with planning and targets – it’s scary

Nuala and I agreed last week that after Berlin we would cruise for long days and get back to Koblenz (825 km away), as soon as possible in case the water levels on the Rhine start to rise. Leaving Berlin to go to Potsdam – An Interesting City

Today we leave Zeuthen in former East Germany after 39 days.

Today we dragged ourselves away from Boothaus Roll in Zeuthen. We have been here since 12th July. This is the longest we stayed anywhere. In our hearts we did not want to move but we must as we have a Gap Year to continue with.
