Reality Bites- The Gap Year is Over- Nuala went back to work today.
Nuala left the apartment at 8 am this morning for her first day at work in 11 months. I am going to attend the Rotary meeting this afternoon.

We are home- we limped into Ireland rather than arrive to applause
We are home in Dublin since 11.30 today Monday 23rd February. Fourteen hours behind schedule but then again we did arrive by breakdown truck.

Last day in France
We spent the last day in France, at The War Memorial of Caen museum and then took the night ferry from Caen to Portsmouth. We are near the end of our Gap Year.
Lunch at Bernard’s – Our French Friendships continue
We met Bernard at Rodgers New Year’s Party. Bernard kindly invited us to Sunday lunch at his home – another new French experience for us.
Our social life in Chalon- is wonderful.
Last Friday our boat neighbour Thierry and his partner Marie Ange invited us to dinner on their boat. What a Burgundy feast!

We are back in our house – The Gap Year is Officially Over
On Saturday, 7th March we moved back into our house and then it hit me, the Gap Year is really over!
