Good Food in France- Camembert and Brie Cheese
France produces many fine foods, including cheeses. France has 350 to 400 distinct types of cheese but our favourite is Camembert du Normandie followed by Brie du Meaux.

Has anyone heard of Prosper Mérimée (1803- 1870) or André Malraux (1901-1976)? Well I for one owe them a deep sense of gratitude.
Nuala and I have had a great time exploring France visiting cities and historic buildings. In various guide books when visiting places , credit for saving a particular building or town has been given to either of these two men.
